Scope
40 final frames · two-day · drone exterior
"We needed the build to look like the build, not the brochure. Lina shot two of the rooms before the painters finished — that was the shot we ended up using."
The shoot
Day one was the rough-in: framing, wires, the plasterer with his trowel. I kept the camera low so the doorways arched higher than they were.
Day two was finishes: brass taps, terrazzo, the hand-laid tile in the entrance hall. I waited for the rain to stop, then went back outside for the drone pass.
The shot the architect used on her website was an in-progress frame from day one, not a 'finished' shot. The brief had said "capture the work, not the wallpaper."
Delivery was 40 frames + a 90-second sweep of the exterior at golden hour.
